Up for auction is my stunning Martin & Co D-28 acoustic guitar inc. Martin & Co hard shell case.Both guitar and case are in excellent condition, save for a small, shallow 2 cm scratch on the lower back (see photos). It has never been gigged and has spent most of its life in its hard shell case in my cool, dry, pet and smoke free home.The guitar is a work of art. The wood is bursting with tone and, strummed or picked, it sounds otherworldly. This is a wonderful example of a world class instrument and anyone I have every played it for has been instantly blown away by its sound.Oh yeah, and it has just been professionally set up with a set of .11 strings, so it plays effortlessly and sounds huge.I would love to keep hold of this guitar, I really would, but it is more guitar than I can justify owning for the purpose of hammering out Oasis and Beatles tunes.Serial no. 1539590.
