UK sale only MARTIN COLETTI Model F44 ‘Big Beat’ c.1964-1968 The ‘Big Beat’ models were produced between the mid 1950’s to the late 1960’s. These small European built guitars are perfect for blues and picking and have all the same qualities as American Harmony built Stella’s and Kay’s etc. They are also deceptively loud and when played close to the bridge can have an almost ‘steel resonator’ sound to them. This one has a maple type top and the bouts and back are a mahogany colour. This guitar is another one of the best from my collection. I am a player of 45 years experience. I remember these guitars being sold new! - You will be hard pressed to find this model in better condition or one that is set up so well. It is very easy on the hand. Chords are playable at the 10th fret! The fretboard is in A1 condition with no wear. The fret markers are real ‘ Mother-of-Pearl ’ (Abalone)There is a zero fret . (An important feature, rarely fitted on modern guitars)The Intonation read more
