This 11x17 2-ply board of Marvel Comics Black Panther is penciled by Joe Sinnott for the 4th Annual "Joe Sinnott Inking Challenge" hosted by the 501(c)3 non profit Inkwell Awards to educate the public about the comic book art form called "Inking" and what an ink artist contributes individually to the pencil art. Joe Sinnott's pencils were converted to a digital blueline file and distributed amongst various ink artist who asked to participate in this year's challenge. The ink work seen in this auction is rendered by ink artist John Floyd. JOHN FLOYD, a graduate of the Kubert School, was an assistant for Joe Sinnott, Dan Panosian and Barry Windsor-Smith, whose pencils he inked on several BWS Valiant titles such as Archer & Armstrong, Rune and Eternal Warrior. He's also worked for DC, Marvel and Acclaim, on titles such as Batman, Detective Comics, Shadow of the Bat, Legends of the Dark Knight, Conan and Silver Surfer. The Inkwell Awards would like to thank Theresa Kubert and the Kubert School Art Store for the generous donation of the 2 ply boards that were used for this years Joe Sinnott Inking Challenge. **********We combine Shipping & Handling on multiple items won********** The Inkwell Awards ( ) is an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and promote the art form of comic-book inking, as well read more
