This auction is for Marvel Comics SILVER AGE issues of 'TALES OF SUSPENSE' featuring IRON MAN #41 (PR), #42 (GD-), #45 (GD), #47 (VG+) Description/Condition: #41 - "THE STRONGHOLD OF DOCTOR STRANGE!", written by Stan Lee/R. Berns (Robert Bernstein), artist Jack Kirby. Also 2 short stories: "A Toy Soldier!" ? + "The End of The Universe!" by Stan Lee/ Steve Ditko Poor (.5)… everything a poor is, you name it… it has it (or doesn't!) although you can still read the story of Iron Man and the "End of The Universe well enough. #42 - "TRAPPED BY THE RED BARBARIAN", written by Stan Lee/R. Berns (Robert Bernstein), artist Don Heck. Also 2 short stories: "I SPEAK OF THE HAUNTED HOUSE!", STAN LEE/STEVE DITKO + sci/fi "ESCAPE into SPACE", Stan Lee and Larry Lieber Good- (1.8) Very used and abused book, Pencil writing name on top cover, Middle page is detached from staples, large chunk missing from first inside page top right corner but not enough to take from reading title, little chunks missing back cover left bottom corner and last page. Major spine roll with tears all along it. Some coloring over on cover bleeding through to other side and first page not reaching panel nor affecting reading.
