(S485) From the late 1950's is a Marx 027 gauge #1 4-4-0 Wm. Crooks Old Time Steam Loco & Tender with two marching St. Paul & Pacific tin litho Old Time Passenger Coaches. The Loco has a black plastic boiler and tender body that are complete, all original and in better than very good condition. It appears that the boiler handrails have been neatly glued in place as the 4 small plastic tips that hold the rails in place are missing. The loco was bench tested, it runs great, the two position reverse unit works as it should and the smoke unit will blow you out of the room. The loco is rust free with some very slight dust. The tender is complete with no breaks, also with some slight dust, and t is surface rust on the inside of the wheel sets. The trucks are clean and rust free. T are two marching Old Time Passenger Coaches, a #1 Baggage Car and a #3 Coach. both cars are complete, all original and in very good condition with no rust on the bodies. T are small nicks and scratches in the litho finish. All hand rails are complete as are both chimneys. T is a trace of dust. The trucks are just about rust free, t is some surface rust on the wheel sets. All plastic couplers are complete. A great set that could be added to your collection or layout as is.
