More miscellaneous accessories from a large MARX toys "Blue & Gray" collection. This grouping features some like-new, nearly-new, and borderline junk, all wrapped up together! But the crown jewel of the group is the like-new EXPLODING SAND-BAG BUNKER! This item is highly sought after in the playsets hobby, and this one is PERFECT! The litho-tin mansion is also very good, as are the soft plastic parts. I am sorry that the caisson-cannon unit is not so good, but collectors know that the hard-plastic parts are the biggest challenge in the playsets hobby. The cannon is really good. Just for fun and effect (which is what the hobby is all about, after all), I have included 4 draft horses along with a caisson rider calling out to his buddy the teamster (with whip--is that cool, or what?) I also have some broken cannon pieces, the black cannon being "all-t" if you want to glue the wheel back on. (The Marx Toy museum in West Va. sells replacement axles.) But, broken stuff like the cannons and wheels and caisson can add charm and realism to a battle scene, so it is not alway recommended to dismiss the slightly broken (or even all broken) stuff, so long as you have some good stuff to go with it. T is also some scenery, camp accessories, 4 sections of picket fence, 3 tents (still pliable), 2 nice anti-personnel barrier/traps (crossed stakes)
