Here is a rare Prewar Marx Passenger Set. #7096 New York Central. The engine runs and light works, excellent condition. Four out of the five passenger cars have working lights. One car needs a new bulb. There is a dent on the underside of passenger car as can be viewed from picture. There is a couple spots of rust near contact shoes on couple of the cars. For its age I rate passenger cars in very good condition. I will sand rust off using super fine grit sandpaper before I ship to winning bidder. The set box is in fair condition-The corners are tapped together, and there is small holes on top of box. The inside cardboard compartments are missing. Original track and transformer included. The transformer works but missing tie down bolt to hook wire. The road names on passenger cars are: Toledo, Chicago, Detroit(end car), US Mail/Baggage, last car just has New YORK Central.
