Old MARX 999 Steam Engine New York Central Train Set MARX cast metal steam engine & tender bodys are unbroken but have paint wear as can be seen. Front boiler lens and the 999 numbers are good. The train engine motor was lightley oiled cleaned and it runs well foward and reverse. And the light works. Front wheel trucks are missing but has rear trucks and still runs well. The New York Central Marlines tender shows normal wear and some slight surface rust. The Pennsylvania Box also shows signs of normal wear and some paint loss. The NYC caboose shows normal wear and has some slight surface rust and normal play wear. The trucks and wheels have some light surface rust and couplers are good on all. The MARX No. 1239 50 watt tranformer works and the lock on and wires are also included. The track 8 curves and 4 straights is modern Lionel and has some tarnish and light surface rust and should be lightley cleaned before use. Steam engine runs foward and reverse. Please view the pics.
