This train is complete with steam engine, three passenger cars with passengers in film windows, a tender, tracks and a transformer. All are in original box. The set is in nice shape for its age. The film depicting the passengers has a few cracks and is loose from the windows in places. The films have fallen in just as we have handled them for photographing, so they might fall in more during shipping. I do believe that they could be fixed. Very slight rust around wheels. I do not know if the train runs, because I don't have the wires that go from the transformer to the connector track, and I don't think it has a connector piece of track, because I couldn't find a plug-in spot on that piece of track. It is apparently just one straight piece of track. The dome car window films are loose on both ends on one side of the car and at one end on the other side of the car. Two pictures have a scratch on film. There is very little scratching on the body. Underneath is clean except for some rusting on the wheels. The middle car has fallen film in the windows on one side and half fallen on the other. It has one shallow scratch on the roof. There is minor rusting on the wheels. The meteor car has good film in the windows. It has a green and red light on each side of the back end. It has two small spots of rust on the roof, and some rust on the wheels. There is some metal showing a slight chip formation down the front side of the car (see last picture). The tender has a few chips of paint off both ends of the body and minor scratching elsewhere. The engine looks clean all over. It looks as if everything needed is there underneath (see last picture). Note: One viewer has written to say that the two front wheels are not original, and that it should have a 4 wheel truck in its place. The tracks are very clean except for the connector track which has a prong missing at one end and a little rust. Actually I'm don't think the one piece of track that I thought was the connector track is a connector track, because it doesn't have a plug-in spot. $10.50 has been added to the price of the set for insurance.
