This item is from the estate of the late Harold "Riff" Smith, one of the world's foremost collector's of dinosauria. Riff's collection will be auctioned on ebay over the upcoming months and includes many choice and vintage items as well as most modern day collectibles and ephemera as well. This is seldom seen item in today's circles. It's also considered the Holy Grail of all post Marx era playsets. Before bidding please beware of shipping costs and make sure it is worth your while. The box is huge measuring 26x22X8. The contents are complete plus. The box is C-8.5 and clean and crisp. The set contains the Giant prehistoric mountain, 4 land briges (still bagged), 4 rock formations (still bagged), 24 Superior cavemen(still bagged) Huge playmat and 4 sets of trees and fronds and booklet. AND 17 original marbled Superior dinosaurs. But that's not it for this dandy. Riff had it loaded with extras which I will pass on to you. Also included are a set of DFC cavemen, some Tootsietoy recasts (not pictured), 18 MPC original dinosaurs, 8 Whitepost dinosaurs from Marx molds, 3 sets of Timmee dinosaurs (not pictured), and a set of Ajax (not pictured). The mailing weight on this set is 12 pounds with an oversized box. I can break the box down to better pack and maybe save some on shipping as the Superior playset boxes are not corrugated and I will ship whatever way you deem appropriate. But to true playset fans this is one gem of an item. With postal rates being insane these day I have calculated from my zip code 15122 to California that shipping woud be almost $50 for express mail as its actually cheaper to ship overnight than priority. Obviously, the closer to Pennyslvania the cheaper the shipping and I am only emphasizing shipping because I think that's the major factor with this set more so than desire alone.
