Marx William Crooks boxed train set LN C8 This Marx William Crooks set is in like new condition. The engine, tender and both cars look like they have never been on the track. The engine looks perfect as I see no chips, cracks, breaks or usage. I did test run it and it smokes great, light works and runs smoothly forward and back. On coach #1 t are a couple of marks on the top from the factory. I tried to take a picture of it, and it looks like someone touched the litho before it dried. All the wheels show no sign of being played with or run on the track. The box is in great shape too, but this set is missing the transformer. Overall, looks like this set grades about a C8. (If the winning bidder wants a transformer, I will find one that is the same as came with this set.)
