The museum is owned and operated by Francis Turner, a collector of Marx, and displays his private collection of Marx toys from the 1930’s through the 1970’s. Over the past six years, the museum has made a number of additions to the museum displays and will continue to add new and unique items to the collection. The Marx items currently listed on ebay are duplicate items from the collection of Francis Turner or are items being sold for other individuals. The continued sales of Marx items through ebay, will continue to help defray the costs of operation of The Official Marx Toy Museum. Although the museum sees a number of visitors each year, the costs of creation and operation were/are tremendous.
