Vintage Christmas ******** For the past several years I've created a special series of seasonal Victorian-style chenille ornament sets that are only available for a short time. This year I have expanded my line to include one-of-a-kind ornaments that incorporate real vintage elements such as German crinkle wire, metal tinsel, real glitter glass, dresden pieces, and die cut scraps. I am pleased to present one of my Christmas designs for 2007 for your consideration. ******** Mary and Baby Jesus Star Tree Topper This beautiful star will be the crowning touch to the top of your Christmas tree. The images of Mary holding baby Jesus and the cherubs flying above are authentic German scrap. So pretty! Mary is dressed in blue, pale red, and cream. The unbreakable star topper is so elegant. The picture doesn't capture the amazing three dimensional detail. It is in gold and silver. Around the outside edge of the star is old fashioned gold tinsel garland. On each point are tiny metallic ornaments in red and gold. The paper scraps on the ornament are backed with silver angel hair. The entire star has been wrapped with lots of German crinkle wire.
