This auction is for a collectible Mary Engelbreit pincushion, brand new and still in package. It's in the shape of a birdhouse, with a ridged roof in red with small flower print. The body of the pincushion is light blue; around bottom edge is a black & white checkered edging with fabric red flowers (on the sides & front), blue flower on the back, green leaves; centers of flowers are wood beads. Under the eaves of the roof are red bead "cherries"; on the front is a yellow bird sitting in the opening of birdhouse. T's a cluster of red pom-poms as a bunch of cherries, and two red pom-pom cherries at the top of the roof; also a red wood perch. The roof lifts up on one side for access to the inside for sewing storage; has a red elastic "latch" for closure, and hooks onto one of the red "cherry" beads to fasten. Birdhouse stands on a green base. Retails @ $14.99. This is an absolutely adorable ME collectible, and functional, too! Comes from a smoke and pet free home. I do combine shipping when possible.
