Note: i am putting up these beautiful, valuable paintings with NO RESERVE, you have a chance to own a part of Mary Lindenberg fine art work collection. Mary has past away in early 2011 so her art work will be more valuable as time goes on, so good luck to all bidders. Mary’s work is at least worth 3 times what the starting bid is. For example if you were to buy five paintings for the price of $99.99 each one painting is worth framed $350 to $1,000.00. At this time in most galleries in the U.S.A most people just want to have at least one of Mary's art works. To art collector these pieces of art work are very rare and expensive; we are basically giving them away at the price they are being set at. Very Important Please Read On Mary K. Lindenberg February 2, 1921 – May 9, 2011 As a child, Mary grew up in Bronx, New York. She was introduced to the world of Painting when at the age of 7, her Aunt gave her some leftover watercolor paint. She was given a quick lesson on how to use them, and she never stopped painting For the rest of her life…she is considered a self-taught artist. Mary could complete and produce a painting within a few days.You will find Mary K. Lindenberg, listed in the 18 th edition of “Who’s Who in American Art” 1989. It contains her biography and accomplishments. Her work have appeared in books, magazines, and on calendars, greeting cards and TV. Her painting “Cuttyhunk in Winter” appears in the 1990 “American Press Calendar”. Her focus is on scenes of sailing trips she made with her husband, Martin, including Cuttyhunk, Martha’s Vineyard, & Nantucket. While sailing in the boat, she would set up her easel and paint. At times the ride would get rocky and her paint brush would Not land quite where she intended it to, which always added to the freshness and vitality of her creation.Most of her watercolors are done on 140 pound rough paper . Other watercolors include scenes in New Hampshre, New England landscapes, florals, Alaska, Hawaii, Nova Scotia and the Carribean. In 1992, one of her New Hampshire winter scenes inspired a Christmas Card which was published by Courage Cards of Minnesota for national distribution. She is a graduate of Hunter College with a B.A. , 1942, and is a professional Mathmetician, who has taught in schools most of her working life. Mary has painted over 5000 watercolors and acrylic works which are housed in over 500 private collections.
