This is a fantastic piece of early movie history, Mary Pickford's parasol from the 1917 classic film "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm". This piece stands 38" high and is around 22" wide when opened. Cream eyelet lace with peach ribbon trim, aqua silk and peach details on top. Wooden handle with silk rosebud at end and aqua ribbons on handle. Comes with COA from Hollywood Rock and Country (I purchased this piece from them in 2002) they purchased this item at the Butterfield & Butterfield Auction of 12/12/93 (item #1119). Original tag from the estate of Mary Pickford auction included (see picture). Colors are good and parasol works fine. Material is fragile and shows some wear as indicated in my photos. Even when new this was a very delicate item, it has held up extremely well for being close to 100 years old! A great piece of memorabilia from films early silent days from one of it's most beloved stars. Shipping in US will be 24.95 Priority Mail, Delivery Conf., Insured. Aloha.
