Hello Ebay Members, Up for auction today is a rare Mason Ironstone Fenton Old School House Pattern Jug c1820, 4''1/2 inches tall. This piece I have had for just about 15 years. I purchased this in L.A. many years ago at an Estate sale. I do believe that this piece is part of a set of 3 and this being the smaller one of the set. The research I have done and my Miller's Antique Guide Book tell me this is a rare and important piece of porcelain C1820. The one in the book is 9'' tall and has a price of $2000 to $2400. I have loved this piece for many years and I am sure it will find a good home with one of you Ebay Members. If your a collector of such rare porcelain you will know it's value right away. The piece is in good condition for it's age and the photos tell all. In photo 5,9,12, you may see what looks like a small chip but with a closer look this looks like it may have happen when the piece was being made for the glaze and gold paint go right over the area and t are no signs of repair. ( IF YOU WOULD LIKE I COULD TRY AND GET A CLOSER PHOTO OF THIS AREA AND SEND THIS TO YOUR EMAIL ). T is some wear to the gold rim and I just love what looks like a Bull Dog just on the inside. So with all of that being said I will start the Auction at $25.00 dollars and Shipping will be $15 dollars and Insurance will be added for safe transit.
