Up for auction is this Knights Templar Ceremonial presentation sword from the late 1800's. It was presented to B.S. Leiper which is in raised letters on the blade. This sword & sheath are highly decorated with all kinds of crosses, writing & such. Around the handle of the blade it says "IN HOC SIGNO VINCES" and on the end of the blade is a knights helmet. I took quite a few pictures so you could see it for yourself. The maker is M.C. LILLEY & CO. COLUMBUS OHIO and is marked on the blade. This beauty measures 39 inches when put together, the sword measures 35 1/2" and the sheath measures almost 32 inches. They are in pretty good condition, they do need to be cleaned but I will leave that to the new owner. I have another Knights Templar Ceremonial Sword by a different maker and will try to list it later today or tomorrow. Thank you for looking. Check out my other auctions if you get a chance.
