THIS IS A THREE DAY AUCTION! This is an ornate ceremonial sword with scabbard that's estimated to be from the late 1800s. The sword's engraving reads RCU Knights of St John. At the base, near the handle, it appears to have the original owner's name, which is Chas Svenosen (possibly an early spelling of Swensen) of Cincinnati OH. The sword and scabbard are in excellent condition. Check out the pictures! I'm starting the bid at $200 with NO RESERVE! I've seen recent auctions for similar swords go for $500 and change, so this is easily worth the starting price. Bid to win! The auction ends on Tuesday morning. If you make an immediate payment with PayPal, I can ship the sword out on Wednesday, Dec 19th. You could get it before Christmas, depending on w you live. Shipping will be $20 in the 48 contiguous States ...more elsew If you wanted overnight shipping, I could get a quote on Wednesday and ship it Thursday for Friday delivery, but that would be considerably more expensive. This is an awesome, rare sword! Don't miss out! Be sure to check my other auctions. T will be more furniture and collectibles from this estate in the near future.
