Wow, this is a fantastic antique Masons Patent Ironstone China deep plate or shallow rimmed bowl. It measures approx. 8 1/2" across and stands approx. 1 1/8" high. This plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Some slight misses to the color and t, but I think this plate has spent most of its life on display. This piece is impressed with the Masons Patent Ironstone China mark on the back. This mark dates to between 1813 to 1825 according to the Encyclopedia of British Pottery & Porcelain Marks. I believe this pattern is called Imari or Gawdy/Gaudy, but I'm not sure of this.
Please note that I have two other dishes up for auction in the same pattern and I am always happy to combine items for shipping.
