Mason's Pink/Red VISTA Large Fluted Edge Bowl-Old Mark
We are listing several auctions of Mason's Pink Transferware Ironstone VISTA pattern dishes this week from an estate. Most of the pieces have the Gadroon edge, but some of the serving pieces do not. T are several very hard to find and desirable pieces from this set. So make sure to check out all of our auctions. Win more than one auction, and we can ship together to save you $$! This auction is for what they call a dessert bowl and is a serving piece measuring 8 7/8" across widest area and 2 1/4" high with decorative fluted edge. It is not a gadroon mold, but smooth edge. Not only does it have scene in middle of bowl, but also on outer 3 sides of bowl. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. T are no utensil markings so was probably used very little if at all. The underside edge of rim has two flutes w t is a tiny glaze skip with a small moisture spot as does the bottom dry foot of the piece. Not noticeable unless you turn the piece over. A very nice hard to find bowl. Bid today, NO RESERVE, so the high bidder wins!
