Measuring an impressive 50 inches overall, with a blade length of a full 36 inches and a blade width of 2 inches, this is a powerful slashing weapon, with a long wire wrapped grip for both a good hold and leverage. The heavy pommel, with brass accents, provides a good counterweight, and the sharp spike at the end is yes one more way to wound your opponent. The center of the crosspiece, done to resemble a stylized Viking helmet, gives the piece a unique look, and the crosspiece itself, formed from the horns on the helmet and measuring a full 9 and one half inches wide, provide excellent protection for the hands.
