Stupid huge and rare Griswold #12 cast iron Tite-Top dutch oven with a raised letter lid and a BLOCK logo on inside of the lid and on the bottom of the pot. Base is 2634 and lid 2636. Measures a whopping 13 1/2 inches across the inside. NO cracks on either piece. NO repairs. NO holes. NO dents. NO trivet. No warpage. Original bail is straight and folds down flat. Top sits in flat to the base. Inside is clean and other than some evidence of use, smooth. It does have some dispersed pitting on the outside bottom, none of which obscures the logo, but clearly not perfect, please look at the photos. I have cleaned this without using any mechanical nor chemical means and has been treated with an edible oil so some spots may look a little shiny which is just the oil. A great pot despite the minor metallurgical acne. It's not the Manuel Noriega of cast iron cookware but more like minor case of poison ivy, and will present well in most collections or make a pot of chili that would make the tailgaters at Lambeau Field put down their brats and weiners and come running and pay tribute to the Pot From the Gods (of Erie, Pa.).
