This is an outstanding Lifetime quarter sawn oak settle. The settle is 72" wide, 32 1/2" deep, and 34" tall. It has theoriginal lifetime paper tag on the bottom of the center seat supportstretcher. The tag has the Lifetime logo at the top and the model # 688 3/4 hand written at the bottom bottom of the tag. The settle has its original drop-in spring seat that has been reupholstered (not leather, something that looks like leather). I would say the settle is in very good condition for its age. When I take a close look at the settle I see minor marks from use, and it is apparent that the settle has never been refinished. The finish does not look shiny like it has been re-coated with something and I believe it has an original desirable look. But the finish itself seems to be in very good shape, so it maybe possible someone went over it with some kind of care product, wax or something at some point. The settle has mortise and tenon joints, some joints are pegged and the front posts go all the way through the armrests and are pegged. A massive Lifetime settle in this condition is not very common and makes a desirable investment quality Arts and Crafts piece. The freight Company "Craters and Freighters" phone number has been recommended to me by people who use these services. I live about 25 miles north of Denver and will deliver this piece to any shipping company within a 50 mile radius for no charge. But because of the size and weight of the piece I will not provide packaging and shipping. The buyer will have to make arrangements with the shipper of their choice and make payment directly to them. Thank you
