All teeth are cleaned with water and vinegar, and lightly buffed with a soft brush or cloth. Some ocean sediment may remain. These teeth are otherwise unmodified and unaltered. Pictures listed on this description are of the actual megalodon tooth being bid upon and are an accurate representation of such.

About Megalodon Teeth:

These teeth are from prehistoric sharks that lived millions of years ago. Now extinct, these fossils are all that remain of one of the world's most ferocious predators.

Collecting Locations:

I have personally collected these megalodon teeth fossils from the floor of the North Atlantic Ocean at depths of 90 - 120 feet. These are open-ocean fossil bed recoveries, not riverbed retrievals.

Measurements:

Measuremments are made on each diagonal side (R and L) and the width (W). All measurements are made with calipers for better accuracy.

Reproductions, Repairs, Modifications, Alterations:

All items are authentic, unrepaired, unmodified or altered unless otherwise stated. Items are cleaned with either water or vinegar, and possibly a soft bristle brush or cloth. At no time are petroleum-based products or glazing used on any items.

Shipping:

Shipping and handling for one megalodon tooth is $5.99, via United States Postal Service Parcel Post within the United States. Combined shipping discounts are offered at $1.00 per additional tooth for multiple purchases.

If you prefer USPS Priority Shipping or another carrier, the fee to you is the actual shipping cost. Fee may vary by weight of each tooth; shipping quotes available upon request.

Shipping to foreign countries is available but somewhat limited; please inquire about country and cost.

Tracking information for all purchases is available to purchaser.

Insurance is optional and variable based on the items declared value, minimum insurance cost is $1.65. Fee varies by final purchase price of each tooth; insurance quotes available upon request after purchase.
