~Antique Pallme Konig Bowl~
Age: Roughly mid to late 1800's Style: Jugendstil Era: Art Nouveau or Jugendstil Mater: Glass & Bronze I think Maker: Most likely Pallme-Konig Possibly Loetz or Kralik Origin: Bohemia Condition: In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Its a little dirty in the bowl and the bronze has a nice patina. Could be cleaned but I don't want to damage it soi won't. Please see pictures for details. Measurements: 11-1/2" tall completely the bowl is 4-1/2" tall by 10" wide the base is 8" tall by 5" wide. Signature/Hallmark/Hallmarked: Unmarked. Details: Amazing high quality Bohemian art glass bowl or compote. Completely iridescent green bowl with dark colored threading all around it. Bowl has a ruffled edge. Base is what I believe to be bronze. Could be something else but I don't think so. It is very nice art nouveau or Jugednstil design with nice curves, fruit and leaves. I have never seen a piece like this or as large as this one done by any of the above mentioned makers. It is very rare. Possibly a one of a kind piece. Don't miss out on it.
