You are bidding on the actual item pictured, in used and original condition. This item is a Moro Kriss SWORD. Item blade shape is a wave, with undulating diamond cross section, double edges, and graceful taper to tip. The ridge centerline moves with the outer edges. Item has good edges, and remains robust, without cracks, one shallow ding, and occasional light pitting. Blade Surface is in good condition, and is likely repolished. Polish is still good. Some old pitting still remains. Blade is set firmly onto handle with a a small tip of the tang showing on the dragon's head. Item has a solid heavy handle of stacked leather, and metal spacers. Ends feature solid metal dragon head butt, and cross guard with Eagle or Phoenix images engraved on each side. Entire item is heavy and solid metal. Blade is firmly mounted, with no play or wobble. Handle and scabbard have a couple light dings and scuffs. Scabbard shows wear marks from carry, and the blade tip comes thru the end. Handle shows moderate wear from right handed use, with finger marks on the stacked leather surface. Current mounting appears old and vintage, but is thought to replace an older mount.
