AMERICAN BRILLIANT MASSIVE 17" CUT GLASS TRAY ~* EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY *~ NO RESERVE!! This is a very large and very heavy cut glass tray measuring 17" long and 10" wide. It weighs approx. 7 lbs. 4 oz. It has a high quality nearly ½" thick blank. This piece can be seen on page 135 of Pearson's Volume I (Blue Cover). The outer edge has large scallops with a sawtooth cut. T are two very large 24 pt. hobstars cut into the ends of this oblong tray. On the sides, t are four smaller 18 pt. hobstars flanked by fans with flashing. In the center of this beautiful tray, t is a huge six point star That consists if three bars of cane that intersect in the center. Filling the star are triangles with reverse fans around the outer edge and diamonds filled with crosshatching. W the bars intersect, they form another six point star and it has a flat star button. This piece is in excellent condition. It does not have any chips or cracks. T is one tiny flake on the outside of one tooth but is not noticable and does not distract from the beauty if this piece. The blank is clear with a water white color. This is an outstanding cut glass tray for any American Brilliant collection. The very deep cutting on this high quality blank is wonderful.
