Massive Vintage Sommerso Vase Wow this awesome 6-sided vase stands about 11-3/4" tall and weighs between 5 to 6 pounds! The walls of this vase are a full 1/2 inch thick at their narrowest points. The interior is deep rich red. T appears to be a thick green ribbon around the red, but upon closer inspection t are 2 ribbons! A pale green ribbon and a shade darker green ribbon. T are two flea bites (I had to take it out in the sun to see them) on the side edges and one slightly larger than a pin head size impact mark on one side. The impact mark looks like a bubble until inspected closer, still for it's size and age in great condtion! I have collected Murano for over 10 years and have seen few pieces this well made and in such good condition for it's age. My collection is outgrowing my house and I need to let some go.
