Master Replicas Star Wars Yoda Lightsaber Ep III LE ITEM DESCRIPTION Official reproduction of Yoda's Lightsaber from Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith. Machined aluminum body with clear-black overspray to simulate dark anodonic steel. Stamped aluminum emitter shroud. Plastic molded grips with rubberized finish and battle "scars". Weatd to look battle worn. Machined center control band with semi-gloss black finish. Comes with a custom display case, numbered plaque, and certificate of authenticity. Display case has a matte black base, mirrored floor, acrylic supports, and acrylic dust cover. Prop Story While the Clone Wars ravage the galaxy, the wise Jedi Master Yoda senses the dark side of the Force surrounding Chancellor Palpatine. When the Separatists invade the Wookiee world of Kashyyyk, Yoda leads the Republic's clone army into battle. Assisted by the mighty Wookiees Chewbacca and Tarfful, Yoda barely escapes a surprise ambush when the Clone Wars take a fateful turn. Upon his return to Coruscant, Yoda learns the terrible truth. With the Jedi(tm) decimated, and the Republic reorganized into the first Galactic Empire, Yoda must face the new Emperor in the ultimate confrontation between the greatest wizards of the Force in the galaxy. For Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, Yoda is armed with his elegant lightsaber, which remains largely unchanged from its original appearance in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. The small, six-inch long silver device is augmented with the same control buttons and protective shroud at the front of the emitter. While it may seem ungainly in human hands, its diminutive size is a perfect fit for the hands of the elfish Jedi Master. Since Yoda was again created digitally for Episode III, his lightsaber is also a digital construct. ILM again worked their magic to bring Yoda and his trusty weapon to life on the big screen. To create our replica, MR again utilized the ILM computer files and reference images supplied by Lucasfilm. Based upon a review of this information, we added several creative touches to differentiate the Episode III Yoda lightsaber from its Episode II appearance. The body now has a darker, stainless steel look to its finish, and various accents of "battle damage" have been added to represent several years of combat service in the Clone Wars. We are excited to be able to produce this line of new lightsabers from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
