Matchbox 38E FordModel A Van ~ Missouri Pacific Railroad

A Matchbox for theRailfan! This is a Matchbox Ford Model A Van that has been re-lettered and decorated with one of the Missouri Pacific Railroad heralds and lettering. These are not original Matchbox graphics and hence should not be considered a Matchbox collectors item. A “code 3” item as it would be known. However this is a limited run. This was not intended to be a “scale” model for any particular modeling size but I would consider it to be about “S” gauge which is somew between “HO” and “O”. This truck is mostly diecast metal with some plastic parts. It is new and unused but is shipped in its clear bag and box cradle. The box is not included since it had to be discarded.

This is a great little truck that measures 3 inches in length.

This is an imported item however it has been re-lettered in the USA !

Matchbox is owned by the Mattel Corporation.
