MATCHBOX LESNEY 13a BEDFORD WRECK TRUCK RESTORED Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Picture 4 Picture 5 Picture 6 Picture 7 Item is a restored Matchbox Lesney Bedford Wreck Truck. Series number 13a first issued in 1955. The model has been stripped down to base metal after removing the wheels and axles. A replacement hook and boom have been fitted. It has then been primed, sprayed and varnished. The axles have been replaced with the axles domed on one side, crimped the other. The original grey metal wheels have been refitted. The body of the model has been painted light brown with the jib and hook red. Silver detailing has been applied to the radiator and bumper. The box is a reproduction box and is clearly marked inside as such. Box style B4. Please wait for an invoice before paying if you are bidding for multiple items of mine as the postage costs may vary. At the end of April 2012 the UK postal service (Royal Mail) imposed a large price increase. The effect of this is that the postage cost of single models has gone up considerably. In the UK the first price band now covers weights up to 750g (around 7 standard models) whilst international postage costs have gone up similarly. My packaging costs are around £0.40 per parcel – this equates to a brand new mailing box and plastic postal bag to protect your purchase. To minimise these costs I am always happy to combine postage where possible and the following guidelines apply.
