Stannard code 1. This superb model is in near mint plus (please see grading criteria below) code 1 condition. It was introduced in June, 1963 and was sold in this type and two other variations based upon wheel colour (Mack). There exist 5 distinct Stannard code types. This model is a Stannard code 1 with red body, 9 x 24 BPW, yellow decals, A type smooth bonnet underside, A type trim front and rear. It is approximately 66 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the fine, nearly flawless code 1 virgin original paintwork detail. The beautiful original decals are 100% and best vetted in the photos . The window insert is factory clean and clear. The roof light is firmly in place. The black plastic wheels are in perfect working condition and show no significant wear. The virgin gloss black paintwork on the metal base is in perfect condition. There are no casting defects. This fine Ford Fairlane Fire Chief's Car will display as new. They are constructed of correct weight tag board, square and functionally perfect, fresh and colourful, meticulously detailed inside and out . They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography.
