Item Description and Bidding/ Shipping Cost and Policy/ Payment Instructions: One (1) Matchbox Lesney Sa fari Land Rover 12 c3, blue body, white inter ior, red-brown luggage load. Base without tow guide, no base lug variation. Stannard code 6. This superb model is in very near mint (please see grading criteria below) code 1 condition. It was introduced in 1965 (no month availab le) and was sold in this type and 4 other variations based upon body and load colours (Mack). It be came a Superfast transitional model in gold colour in 1970. There exist 9 Stannard code types. This model is a Stannard code 6, blue body, red-brown load, with B type front rivet post (wide, long braces) , B type bumper (blocks without tow guide), and B type black plastic base without brace lug at tow hook (blue, red-brown, B-B-B ) . Check yours. It is approximately 71 mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the fine, flawless code 1 original, virgin paintwork detail. The original, red-brown luggage load is in perfect. T he windows are clean and factory clear. The black plastic wheels are in perfect working condition and show no use. The black plastic base is perfect. There are no casting defects. This beautiful Stannard code 6 Safari Land Rover will display as new. I use them to display my own collection which then allows me to carefully store my original boxes. They are constructed of correct weight tag board, square and functionally perfect, fresh and colourful, meticulously detailed inside and out . They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography. This box is intended for display and storage purposes with a genuine Lesney Products model only. We always ship multiple purchases combined.
