Item Description and Bidding/ Shipping Cost and Policy/ Payment Instructions: One (1) Matchbox Lesney Taylor Jumbo Crane 11 c1, yellow counterweight box variation. Uncommon, early disk rear wheels. This model is in near mint (please see grading criteria below) code 1 condition from an adult collection. It was introduced in June, 1964 and was sold in this type and a red counterweight variation (Mack). There exist 10 distinct Stannard sub-variant code types. Stannard description and code for this model will be provided upon request. It is approximately 82mm in overall (jib forward) length. Please carefully examine high definition photos for code 1 original, virgin paintwork detail. Any paintwork imperfections will be apparent. The 'hydraulic' jib works in three dimensions as it should. The black plastic wheels are in perfect working condition and show no rolling wear. Note the disc type, flat tread rear wheels which are not commonly seen as on this early issue. The correct, red, pulley type hook is as new. There are no casting defects. This Taylor Jumbo Crane will display as nearly new. They are constructed of correct weight tag board, square and functionally perfect, fresh and colourful, accurately detailed inside and out . They are laser printed so they will be glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography.
