A super example of a very rare and hard to find Mint condition throughout Matchbox G-17 Car Ferry Set from 1971 Pictures are of the exact set of models and box you will be buying. The Red Ferry itself is in a Mint condition still with its flag and flag stickers unused as new,original sellotape still on the ferry opening door, original customer complaints service slip still included and Mint. All four Superfast vehicles are in a MINT condition, this set has never been used just stored never used just stored,the box is complete and very good showing some light age staining and a little corner wear and light crushing on one end but nothing bad considering its 40+ years i have tried to cover most of the box in the photos, the box still has nice crisp bright colours and great artwork, still includes the inner top card that helps keep items in place, this again is complete and very good but does have some age staining/browning. Now we get to the 4 Fantastic models, please note that when these sets were put together in the Matchbox Factory if the selected car box was not available they would use just any available box , this set of 4 models only 1 has its proper box, 3 have replacement( make do) boxes, so this is exactly how the original set was packaged and supplied.
