Matched HOT overwound Humbuckers - 4 way wiring A pair of brand new high quality Warman Super Inferno humbucking pickups with free mounting screws and springs. 4 way wiring for coil tapping options. 4 way wire outpupt on both pickups allows for a huge variety of coil tapping options. Wiring diagrams are available to download in pdf format from our website . The pickups come prewired with both coils in series, just cut through the wire that connect both coils to wire them a wide variety of ways. Again wiring diagrams are available to download for free from our website. Each pick up has six adjustable pole pieces on the first coil. The other coil has flat not adjutsable pole pieces Neck pick up is a warm 7.2 k-ohms with an inductance of 4.2 Henry for a warm bluesy rock. String spacing on this pickup is overall width of 50mm. To save you grabbing a calculator thats' 10mm between the pole pieces. Bridge pick up is powerful at 13.2 k-ohms with a very healthy inductance of 8.14 Henry. Overall string spacing is 52mm which gives 10.3mm between pole pieces. Please note the factory quote these as 16k and 9.6H but I've put my own meter across them and found the readings to be a bit lower so I'm happier if you work with the figures I have stated. To give you some idea of the power of the pickups a DiMarzio ( TM ) Dual sound pickup witht he coils in series, i.e at its most powerful setting, has an inductance of 6.4 Henry and an EMG-Select SEHG has an inductance of 4.2 Henry. Warman pickups use ceramic magnets as these are even brighter than Alnico V or III, and in higher output pickups to help counterbalance the treble lost by the higher resistance (remember higher resistance means more midrange, but less highs). Overall weight of both pick ups is approx. 230g The face of each pickup is covered with a clear protective film which needs to be removed prior to playing. Don't laugh, it's happened before :-) Please note that the output wiring is only 2 core so is not suitable if you want to wire them for coil tapping. International airmail is just £4.99 per pair. How do we do them so cheap ? We buy in bulk direct from the manufacturers and only sell online. We don't have costly overheads of high street premises, there's no middle man to pay, we don't pay for fancy retail packaging etc. and these savings are passed on to you the customer. Are they any good ? Yes. I have been building guitars for over 30 years and these are the same quality pickups I use myself. We only sell stuff we use ourselves. They're not seconds or regraded goods passed off as new are they ? Defintely not. These are all brand new, 1st grade guitar parts. Ocassionally we do sell second hand or reclaimed parts and when we do this is clearly stated in the listing notes. Can I return them ? Yes but only if they are faulty ( see above ). We provide all the dimensions etc in the llisting so please ensure they will fit your guitar before you purchase.
