These are the older NON-UNO socket shells dating PRE-1914 This auction is for the pair as shown which include the Hubbell shade fitters and ornate fitter rings.The fitters have the patent date of July 23 1903 & Feb 23 1904The fitter split rings have the patent date of Feb 23 1904 NOTICE TO HUBBELL COLLECTORS --These Hubbell shade fitters are the original fitters made for Miller Lamps --Notice they they are of the ORNATE style and EXTREMELY RARE.This ornate style is only found on high end lamp applications and just like the stampingof the Miller logo, was not offered in the Hubbell catalogs as an option to every day people.Most of these shade holders being few and rare already, were swapped out, changed, lost or separated from the original fixtures over the years. Hubbell collectors can rummage throughcountless numbers of these split rings before finding just one of them. Others have never even seen one let alone found one. is a pair!
