's a rare opportunity to add a nearly complete matched set of skew blade hollows and rounds to your vintage tool collection! As many of you know, a rare perfect set is 18 matched planes by the same maker. Skew blade sets are even rarer! Nearly new condition skew blade sets by the same maker--nearly more than one can hope for! This set is about as close as you get to that these days being composed of 17 planes in excellent, fully useable condition. The set is nearly complete having all matched pairs of skewed blade hollow and rounds with the exception of not having only the #16 hollow. Sixteen planes in the set are marked "King & Compe, with "Hull" beneath as seen in the photos and appear to be virtually unused! The blades have their full length with the factory grind as well! Also--only the #12 skewed hollow is by "Griffiths Norwich" as shown in the photos. The Norwich only, has a few hammer marks to the back end and a bruised wedge that is not split or cracked and doing it's intended job very well as seen in the photo next to a King and Compe. For those wishing to make a substantial addition to a vintage tool collection, or even start one, is a golden opportunity that will add great value, for your consideration!
