Description: Pair of antique, primitive wooden wallpaper print rollers, from the late 18th - early 19th century, studded with metal shapes featuring a striped floral motif, used for printing designs on wallpaper. One is labeled 72-1 and the other 72-3, indicating that each was used to print a different colored ink on the same roll of paper. Each measures about 21.5 inches high and 5 inches in diameter. Together they weigh about 15 pounds. They would make great primitive candle holders, lamps (they have 2 inch central holes the length of the rollers), table bases, or accent pieces.
