Matching lot Limoges China includes 9 Dinner Plates, 6 Salad Plates, 15 Bullion Cups & Underplates (2 additional Underplates), 1 Gravy Boat, 7 Bread Plates, 1 Cup, 2 Saucers, 4 Dessert Bowls, 1 Small Serving Bowl, 1 Larger Serving Bowl. * Item passed from estate of Jay Gould (1836-1892) to his great-great-nephew, Pete Snow. Mr. Gould was a financier & railroad builder, owner of Union Pacific RR, Missouri Pacific RR, Western Union Telegraph Co, Manhattan Elevated RR of NY, Lyndhurst of NY. In 1937 the Gould family was named #36 in the top 60 wealthiest American families, along with the Rockefellers, Fords & Vanderbilts.
