Super matching pair of antique 1800's carved Cantonese thread barrels/holders (c1830). The base unscrews to reveal the storage chamber within and the centre post, around which silk or thread would be wound in order to keep it clean and tangle free. In excellent condition and mea suring 3cm high and 2.1cm in diameter across the widest part. I try to describe my items accurately and to the best of my ability.
