This is a very nice pair of Matching Antique Wood & Gesso picture frames with Gold Leaf. These frames came from a very nice estate. They are in excellent, nicely kept condition. The frames have a very nice architectural, arch shape that lends them both an attractive, and stately appearance. The wood portion of both frames is in great condition. T is an area on one of them that has some slight scratching like something (maybe the other frame) was stacked on top of it and slid down. This sounds much worse than it is though. The scratch mark did not affect the frames paint or patina or dig into the wood. You have to be close to realize that it's present. The Gesso floral decoration is near perfect on one of the frames and the other has just one very small chip on the upper inside corner of the floral design on the bottom right hand corner of the frame. Each of the frames houses 3 hand crocheted doillies, a nice change from the usual painting. The framed doillies make very appropriate subject matter for the type of setting that these pretty frames would likely be displayed in. I believe it's very important that any flaws in the items I sell are accurately described, so that bidders and/or buyers can get a good all around visual of the item before placing a bid. I do not accept returns, so I urge you to look the photos and description over carefully and ask any questions before you bid. I check my listings daily and will respond within 24 hours or less. The frames measure 18" High by 14" Wide. Shipping charge for the pair will be a flat rate of $12.00 USD.
