Authentic, early, matching numbers, WW2, Japanese, NCO, Shin-gunto Sword with Scabbard! This beautiful examples matching blade, rates excellent +, is very sharp, and shows some slight, almost invisable staining and with the extreme tip slightly blunted(does not detract, many more pictures available upon request). The rare, early, pierced brass tsuba rates excellent. The painted, aluminum handle and pommel also rate excellent with some light wear to the paint. The locking mechanism functions perfectly. The matching numbers, steel scabbard rates almost excellent with one small, very light dent near the drag and retains approx. 85% of its original olive green finish with some light wear and slight pitting. Overall, an excellent, early, matching numbers example! Please let me know if you have any questions or additional pictures that you may need. Happy Bidding!
