First Pocket Edition, 1936-38Smooth green cloth blocked in gold cover and spinewith Maugham's stamped signature on upper board .The set is in overall very good condition , a few look hardly read.Covers show some rubbing, light edge wear and a few cover marks,dust jackets have edge wear, pages are lightly foxed to very clean with no foxing.Back hinge on The Narrow Corner is loosened from the leaf.Some copies have owner's names, one bookplate, some have penciled collector'snotes on fly leaf.
