MAURITIUS' NEWEST OLYMPIC NOC PIN - INTRODUCED JUST WEEKS AGO!! This is the official pin now being used by the National Olympic Team from the tiny Indian Ocean island of MAURITIUS . Mauritius has used a small sea blue rectangular pin for the last ten years at both the Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games. This is their first new pin in a decade, introduced just recently. This brightly-colored pin is made in flat enamel and features Mauritius' Olympic logo and the Olympic rings. This small, attractive, attention-getting piece is not dated . . . excellent condition. Mauritius pins are always difficult for NOC collectors to find at the Summer Games since their team is always a tiny one. This pin was not seen in Beijing but should be of serious interest for historical NOC pins collectors. It is possible that this pin will be available to collectors through the mail for a donation to the NOC, but Mauritius has not been willing to do this in the past.
