Old Mayer China Water/Milk Pitcher from the 1920's - 1930's. The pitcher is white with a green stripe around the outside rolled rim and right up from the base and down the handle. The backstamp is green, Mayer, a line and China under the line, this backstamp is circa 1920 - 1930. The pitcher weighs almost 3 lbs, it is heavy restaurant ware. It measures approx. 6 3/8" high and 7 1/4" from the pourer to the handle. It holds 40 oz. of liquid. The pitcher was used of course for being that old. T are some manufacturing flea bites, skip chips, green runs, a wave on the inside side, some small gray marks. Very Nice Large Old Mayer China Water/Milk Pitcher.
