Pascola mask carved by Francisco Gamez from Masiaca, Sonora approximately 20 years ago. This is a lion style face mask worn by the pascola dancers in fiestas throughout the year. The Mayo and Yaqui pascolas open and close all of the ceremonies. Mask measures 8" x 5 1/2" (wood part only) and the hair adds another 10" in length. Very well carved and the amount of hair is spectacular. The wood is torote prieto. In excellent condition, has been in storage. Shipping is 10.00 {in lower 48 States) plus insurance if you so desire. Paypal is preferred method of payment. Email with any questions. Winning bidder please contact me within a day of the sale.
