Lucky you! You could have this hard-to-find round salad plate in the pralines and cream pattern. The brown praline suggests the Mississippi River. The dark line in the upper corner is called the Rivermark, and it is McCartys' trademark. This mark represents the Mississippi and the brown glass slip also represents the Mississippi. This plate is signed on the front and the back. It is excellent for display; I suggest displaying a bamboo cylinder in nutmeg with it, and one the following listing is such. The plate is 8" in diameter. Pralines and cream pottery is for display only. You can wash them and even put them in your dishwasher, but don't serve off of them becasue of the thin glass slip. Each piece of pottery is unique and none look alike. All McCartys pottery starts from Mississippi mud. This pottery is new and comes from McCartys' studio.S & H will be calculated. Shipping insurance is required, and your purchase will go out by priority mail. Paypal is accepted. Money orders and checks are no longer accepted per Ebay policy.
