We are selling the following-(All reproductions)1859 McClellan Saddle, (12 inch seat), includes blue web girth, 6 coat straps, fenders, stirrup leathers, "US" stamped covered stirrups, Union saddle bags, blue web surcingle, "Brass Heart" breast harness, halter, link strap, lead strap, headstall, reins, Civil War "US" bit, curb chain & hooks, crupper, Cavalry blanket (blue with orange stripe), plaid horse cooler, gum blanket / poncho , 71" blue with yellow trim horse blanket and 2 non-period saddle blankets. Most items were purchased from Shawns Custom Saddle and Tack, San Antonio TX. This is USED gear but in GREAT condition. Items are packaged in 2 boxes with a total ship weight of 66 lbs. The saddle is of the highest quality, well built and in great condition. However, I cannot confirm that it was made by Shawns.
